The photo gallery plugin that I use now has an iPhone app to load a gallery. If I am lucky, what you see below came from there!

Seems to work very well and a lot of NextGen Gallery users are waiting for this. Which iPhone App did you use?
Yes, Jan, it is a great app, fantastic for importing photos from the iPhone on the run, however it does not seem to take the orientation of the camera into account. With a little experimenting I found my photos were correctly oriented when imported from NextGEN Gallery on my PC, but that wasn’t the case from the iPhone app.
In the app, there is no way of changing the orientation either automatically by reading the metadata, or manually. Re-orientation needs to be done from a PC/Mac in admin mode.
